Practitioner lodgment service (PLS)

The practitioner lodgment service, or PLS, is an electronic channel the ATO provides for tax practitioners to lodge client forms, services and reports. It lets a practitioner send many client lodgments through one channel using practice software that supports it, instead of keying each into a separate screen. What can be lodged through the service depends on the form or report and on the software the practice uses. The practitioner stays responsible for the content of everything lodged under their name. A practice reviewing its workflow should check which of its forms go through the PLS and which still need to be done in the ATO's online services.
