Online services for agents

Online services for agents is the ATO's secure system for registered tax agents, BAS agents and their authorised staff. Through it, an agent can view and update client account information, work with activity statements and instalment notices, lodge client forms and reports, and use services such as the pre-filling service for clients who have linked them. Access is controlled by the agent's own identity, and the practice decides which staff can use it. The system is the ATO's own channel, separate from the third-party software a practice uses, though some software connects to ATO services. A practice should keep a record of who has access and remove people who leave.
