FediPilot does the groundwork. Around it sits the whole practice: Fedix Practice Manager, MyLedger, KYC and AML checks, e-signature, billing and the ATO. Here is all of it, chapter by chapter.
For Australian accounting practices
The accountant of the future does no ground work.
Practice management for Australian accounting firms: clients, engagement, compliance, jobs, billing, documents, e-signatures, communication and ATO information in one place.
FediPilot is an AI agent for Australian tax agents and accountants. It works in Xero, LodgeiT, MyLedger and your practice manager, prepares the work, and you review and lodge.

FediPilot · recorded run · 4:34
A trading company, from bank statements to the ledger and the return
Bank statements imported into MyLedger, activity statement and financial statements generated, GST, PAYG and super reconciled to the ATO, draft company return saved in LodgeiT. Fictional client. Not lodged.
14-day free trial. A payment method is required to start. Your paid subscription starts automatically when the 14 days end; cancel during the trial and you pay nothing.

FEDIPILOT
Give it the brief. Get back the work.
FediPilot is a desktop assistant that works inside the systems your practice already runs: your client folders and email, MyLedger, Fedix Practice Manager, Xero Tax and LodgeiT. You describe the job in plain English. It does the ground work, shows every step, and stops at each point where you must decide.
The hard cases
The difficult file, worked through into a working paper.
A nine-entity group. Crypto disposals and staking. A trust distribution against unsigned minutes. A parcel register with a missing cost base. A question that needs the legislation, the rulings and the court decisions read before anyone answers it. FediPilot reads every document, builds the working paper in Excel with live formulas and writes down what it could not resolve.
FediPilot does
Reads the documents and the authorities, builds the schedule and the reconciliation or drafts the advice, and lists the open items.
You do
Settle the questions only you can: the distribution, the cost base, the loss decision, the CGT discount. Any advice is yours to review, sign and send.
A prompt, then the financial statements drafted in MyLedger.
Point it at the bank statements and the invoices. FediPilot checks the statement before it imports anything, brings the transactions into MyLedger, reconciles the year and generates the draft financial statements and the tax reconciliation.
FediPilot does
Imports, reconciles and drafts the statements in the ledger your practice already uses.
You do
Review the draft, adjust what only you know about the client, and finalise.
The return, filled in your own Xero Tax or LodgeiT.
FediPilot opens your tax software, fills the return from the working paper, reads every field back against it and saves the draft. Lodgement is yours: it stops at the button, and you press it as the registered agent.
FediPilot does
Fills the return, reads it back, saves the draft and lists the validation items.
You do
Check the return, clear the validation items, sign and lodge. Nothing is lodged without your approval.
Emails and attachments, settlement reports, payroll and clearing-house reports, ATO prefill: FediPilot pulls what the job needs, files each document against the right client and property, and keeps the trail from every figure back to its source.
FediPilot does
Pulls the reports, reads the attachments, files them and bridges them to the bank.
You do
Decide what the file still needs. FediPilot chases and files; you judge.
Keying figures from statements into the working paper.
Keying the working paper into the tax software.
Pulling the reports, one system at a time.
Then, if there is time left, talking to the client.
THE WEEK WITH FEDIPILOT
You brief the job in a sentence.
FediPilot files, builds, drafts, fills and reads back, and shows its work.
You review the open items it raised, and decide them.
You sign, and you lodge, in your own software.
The rest of the week is the client.
WHERE IT STOPS
FediPilot prepares, and shows its work. You review, sign and lodge as the registered agent. Nothing is lodged without your approval; an ASIC company change you approve is lodged once your client signs it.
FediPilot is included with a Fedix or MyLedger subscription. There is no separate FediPilot subscription; you download it from your Fedix dashboard once your trial has started.
Recorded runs on fictional clients. FediPilot files the source documents, prepares the working papers in Excel and, where the recording goes that far, saves a draft in the software your practice already uses. Every run ends with open items for the accountant. Nothing is lodged.
A trading company, from bank statements to the ledger and the return
4:34 · English narration
FediPilot prepares
Imports the year of bank transactions into MyLedger, codes them with GST and reconciles the bank. MyLedger generates the activity statement and the financial statements. FediPilot then reconciles GST, PAYG withholding and super to the ATO records, posts your decisions in the ledger and saves a draft company return.
You review
You decide each difference it finds: a private purchase, a pay run missing from a lodged statement, late super and a capital purchase. The instalment credit and the tax rate stay with you before the return is finalised.
Recorded in FediPilot with fictional clients and synthetic records. The accountant reviews every draft, and final review and submission stay accountant-controlled in your own tax software. Supported workflows vary by integration and release. FediPilot is downloaded from your Fedix dashboard once your trial has started. Microsoft Excel, Xero and LodgeiT are trademarks of their respective owners, shown as software a practice may already use.
Your problem isn't a missing tool. It's a missing system.

The Solution
It takes three things to run an Australian practice.
Fedix Practice Manager runs the clients, the documents, the compliance and the communication. MyLedger takes raw records through a reconciled ledger, supporting working papers and a Special Purpose Financial Report. MyLedger does not lodge. Your own Xero Tax, LodgeiT or other separate lodgement software finishes filing. We give you the first two and hand off cleanly to the third.
1From Fedix
Fedix Practice Manager
Clients, invoices, notes, ATO records, engagement and chase documents, e-sign, AML and KYC. The whole back office in one place.
2From Fedix
Fedix MyLedger
Raw records through a reconciled ledger, supporting working papers and a Special Purpose Financial Report. MyLedger does not lodge.
3Yours
Your lodgement software
Xero Tax, LodgeiT, or other separate lodgement software your practice selects completes the filing.
Two of the three, built as one system. The third, handed off clean.
The practice manager and the ledger share one client record, so nothing is re-keyed between them, and the figures hand off to your lodgement software without re-keying.

THREE PRODUCTS. ONE PRACTICE SYSTEM.
Built around the clients you actually serve.
From the quick individual return to the complex family group. Choose a product. See where it fits. Follow the work through.
Every client relationship. One connected practice.
Less chasing. More client work.
Onboarding, engagement, quotes, invoices, documents, e-signatures, tax-return management and notes. Reduce repeated entry and follow-ups by keeping every step in the same client workflow.
Fedix holds the relationships and daily work across all three client groups. Use MyLedger for ledger preparation and add FediPilot for deeper support, downloaded from your Fedix dashboard once your trial has started.
Find the workflow your team needs. Explore every product in detail.
649 live features across practice management, accounting preparation and the FediPilot assistant. Each has its own page explaining what it does, how it works and the questions accountants ask.
The complete back office for your practice — clients, invoices, notes, ATO records, engagement and chase documents, e-sign, AML and KYC. One place, and the place FediPilot works from.
BUILT INTO THE CLIENT RECORD
Engagement, billing and the ATO. One client record.
Three pieces of practice work that usually live in three separate tools are built into Fedix Practice Manager itself. Each one is shown below in the product, on a demo practice with fictional data.
Engagement
One click to a signed engagement letter.
Pick the template, the services and the fees. Send. The client signs on their phone with the built-in e-signature, and the signed PDF is generated, filed on the client record and emailed back. Next year, the annual re-engagement carries the details forward for the client to confirm.
Fedix does
Drafts the letter from the client record, sends it for signature, files the signed PDF and emails it back.
You do
Choose the terms and the client. What the engagement covers is your decision.
Recorded on a demo practice with fictional data. English narration with captions.
Quotes, invoices and payment
Billing built for a practice, not borrowed from a shop.
Quote the job. Convert the accepted quote to an invoice. Send it from the client record and let the client pay online by card or direct debit through your practice's Stripe account. Time, work in progress, quotes and invoices sit together, so revenue, aged receivables and WIP for the whole practice are in one place instead of across a billing tool, a spreadsheet and a bank feed.
Fedix does
Drafts the quote and the invoice from the engagement, sends them, records the payment and shows the practice its revenue, receivables and WIP.
You do
Set the fee, approve what goes out, and read the numbers. Online payment needs your own Stripe account; Stripe's fees and a 0.29% Fedix platform fee apply.
Recorded on a demo practice with fictional data. English narration with captions.
Clients, connected to the ATO
Client management that talks to the ATO.
Add a new client to your ATO client list from inside Fedix. Open the client's ATO tab and read their ATO account balances and prefill. See every client's lodgement status in one practice-wide list, refreshed from the ATO through Fedix's DSP integration (GovReports, under your practice's tax agent number), so the overdue work shows up before the client does.
Fedix does
Adds the client relationship at your instruction, reads prefill, account balances and lodgement status, and keeps the list current.
You do
Check what came back against your own records and decide what to act on. Practice Manager does not lodge.
Recorded on a demo practice with fictional data. English narration with captions.
The Copilot
Brief it once. It runs the practice.
The operating system for your practice’s back office—clients, documents, compliance and communication, in one place. You describe the outcome; the Copilot dispatches the work across the system and stops at every point where a human must decide.
Fedix drafts and prepares. Every figure and every document that leaves the practice stays yours to review and sign.

Tell it what you need
One message. Many clients, many tools, many steps. Your practice chooses which steps stay drafted, require approval, or run automatically.
It follows through
Fedix doesn't just kick off the task. It chases clients, retries failures and watches deadlines - then hands the finished draft back to you for review.
You stay the accountant
Set the control level per workflow: draft only, approval required, or automatic. Your accounting practice remains in control.
Bring us a real one
Pick a task that actually ate your week—an onboarding, a chase, an EOFY scramble. In a Practice Review we walk through how it would move through the system, on your own kind of file.
Fedix's DSP integration retrieves what the ATO already holds — income statements, prefill, activity statement history and lodgement status — and lays it against the client’s own documents so the gaps are visible before you start. This is not an ATO certification claim.
Income statements and prefill
What the ATO already holds for the client, laid out beside the documents the client gave you.
Activity statement history
Prior periods read in context, so an odd figure in this one is visible rather than assumed.
Lodgement status
What has been lodged and what has not, so the gaps show up before you start, not after.

THE GROUP AND THE CORRESPONDENCE
The group, mapped. Every message, controlled.
A family group is not eight unrelated client files, and a reply is not a blank page. Fedix draws the structure, drafts correspondence and keeps email and SMS sends under the rules your practice sets.
Organisation chart
Entities, ownership and relationships, drawn from what you already hold.
Fedix does
Draws the structure
Reads the entities, the ownership and the relationships already on the client file, and lays them out as a chart.
You do
You confirm it is right
A chart is a drawing, not an opinion. Whether the structure is correct is your professional judgement, and you make it.
Group management
The whole family group in one place, not eight separate client files.
Fedix does
Holds the group together
The individuals, the trusts, the companies and the fund sit as one group, so work on one entity is visible against the rest.
You do
You decide what the group is
Who belongs in the group, and how the entities relate, is your call. Fedix keeps what you decide in one place.
Email drafting
The reply is written for you, in the context of the client and the job.
Fedix does
Drafts the reply
Reads the thread and the client file, and prepares the reply under the workflow control your practice selected.
You do
Your practice sets the send rule
Choose draft-only, approval-required, or automatic sending for this workflow, and change that rule whenever your process changes.
SMS, sent on your terms
Send a single SMS when you need it, or prepare a bulk SMS for an explicitly approved audience. Configurable SMS reminders follow the timing your practice sets.
Fedix does
Drafts bulk SMS first
Fedix prepares the bulk message and recipient list as a draft, and follows only the reminder cadence your practice configures.
You do
You control every send
A team member sends each single SMS. An authorised user must explicitly approve a bulk SMS before it is sent.
YOUR PRACTICE SETS THE RULE
Your practice chooses whether Fedix drafts, waits for approval, or sends automatically. The workflow remains under the accounting practice's control.
THE CAPABILITIES
What Fedix Practice Manager runs for you.
The front-office grind, handled in one place instead of across a stack of disconnected tools. Engagement letters go out in a click, the ATO portal is worked from inside the practice, e-signing is built in and free, and the follow-up chases itself — and your practice decides which outbound workflows are draft-only, approval-required, or automatic.
One-click engagement letters
Send an engagement letter in a single click. Once the client signs, the PDF is generated, filed to the client record and emailed back automatically.
Fedix does
Sends, then files the signed copy
Fedix issues the letter, tracks the signature, and on completion generates the signed PDF, files it and emails it back — no manual assembly.
You do
You choose the terms and the client
What the engagement covers, and who it goes to, is your decision. Fedix does the sending and the filing around it.
Work with ATO data in Fedix
Retrieve prefill and keep lodgment status current through Fedix's DSP integration, with the workflow managed inside the practice.
Fedix does
Adds, pulls prefill, syncs status
Uses Fedix's DSP integration to retrieve prefill and keep lodgment status current.
You do
You review what came back
Prefill and status are read from the ATO. You check them against your own records before you act on them.
XPM client sync — accountant-controlled
Connect Xero Practice Manager to import, compare and push client records. Once enabled, Fedix can keep client changes in XPM up to date; imports from XPM and conflict resolution stay under your team’s control.
Fedix does
Keeps approved client changes current
Once you enable the connection, Fedix can push client-record changes to Xero Practice Manager.
You do
You control imports and conflicts
Your team chooses when to import from XPM, compares the records and resolves any conflict.
Free built-in e-signature
E-signing is built into Fedix at no extra charge. Send a document, collect the signature and keep the signed PDF and Certificate of Completion on the file.
Fedix does
Collects the signature
Issues the signing request, tracks it, and produces the signed PDF and Certificate of Completion. Your practice decides whether that evidence is suitable for the document and purpose.
You do
You decide what gets signed
Which document goes out for signing is your call. Fedix runs the signing workflow around your decision.
Onboarding, run to a wizard
New clients come on board through a guided onboarding flow, so nothing is missed and the file is set up right from day one.
Fedix does
Walks the client through it
Steps the client through identity, documents and details, and assembles what comes back into the client file.
You do
You accept the file as complete
Whether the onboarding is sufficient for the engagement is your professional call, and you make it.
Document collection that chases itself
Request the documents once and Fedix runs the follow-up cascade — reminders and re-requests — until the outstanding items come in.
Fedix does
Chases until it lands
Sends the request, tracks what is outstanding, and runs the reminder cascade so you are not the one chasing.
You do
You decide what you needed
Which documents the engagement requires, and whether what came back is enough, stays your decision.
AML / CTF AND IDENTITY CHECKS
The AML/CTF program tools are included. KYC identity verification is A$2.90 + GST per verification. Your AML/CTF obligation stays your firm’s own and non-delegable — Fedix assists you in evidencing it; it does not discharge it for you.
YOUR PRACTICE SETS THE OUTBOUND RULE
Choose which workflows stay draft-only, require approval, or run automatically.
Every one of those jobs ends in a figure that has to be right.
PRODUCT TWO
Fedix MyLedger
For clients who never kept a ledger, MyLedger takes raw bank records through a reconciled ledger, working papers and a Special Purpose Financial Report. MyLedger does not lodge; your practice chooses its lodgement software.
THE DROP-IN
Drop in the bank statements. Review the financial statements.
Any bank statement, PDF or CSV, any Excel the client sends: drop it into MyLedger. The transactions are read, coded and reconciled, the working papers are built, and the Special Purpose Financial Report comes out as a draft. You review, adjust and finalise. The ground work is the machine’s. The judgement is yours.
01
MyLedger does
Drop it in
A PDF bank statement the client photographed, a CSV export, any Excel the bookkeeper kept, or a live open-banking feed. MyLedger reads the rows out of whatever it is given.

02
MyLedger does
The ledger and the working papers build themselves
Transactions are coded and matched with AI suggestions you accept or change in one click. The reconciled ledger and the supporting working papers come out of the same pass, every figure traced to its source row.

MyLedger does
The financial statements are ready for your review
The Special Purpose Financial Report, the BAS summary and the taxable income reconciliation are prepared from the reconciled ledger, on your practice's letterhead, waiting for you.

You do
You review and finalise
Open the draft, adjust what only you know about the client, finalise. Then carry the numbers into your own lodgement software. MyLedger does not lodge.
WHAT COMES OUT
Raw records in. A reconciled ledger, supporting working papers and a draft Special Purpose Financial Report out, for you to review and finalise. MyLedger does not lodge; your practice chooses the lodgement software used for filing.
THE WORKFLOW
Three steps to a clean ledger
From a shoebox of bank statements to a reconciled ledger, supporting working papers and a Special Purpose Financial Report. MyLedger does not lodge; your practice completes filing in separate lodgement software.
3
Deliver
You get a reconciled ledger, working papers and a Special Purpose Financial Report. MyLedger does not lodge; you choose the separate lodgement software that completes the filing.
1
Ingest
Drop in any bank statement - PDF, scanned copy, even a screenshot. MyLedger reads it and prepares the extracted rows for review.
2
Rebuild
AI suggests categorisation and matches. You review and approve with one click.
THE LEDGER ENGINE
From raw records to a review-ready reporting pack.
MyLedger is for the clients who never kept a ledger — the micro businesses that hand you a shoebox of bank data. It produces a reconciled ledger, supporting working papers and a Special Purpose Financial Report. MyLedger does not lodge; your practice uses separate lodgement software for filing. Already on Xero? Xero is built for businesses that keep their own books day to day. MyLedger sits alongside it, for the accounts Xero was never set up to catch up on. Take it on its own, or as part of the whole system.
Raw bank records in a reconciled ledger, working papers and reporting pack out
AutoRecon
The reconciliation arrives drafted. Colour-similarity bars cluster matching narratives and Smart Sort strips bank noise, so like transactions group together on load.
Fedix does
Drafts the coding
AI codings arrive as ghost text in the Comment and Accounting Category cells, alongside autofill, undo/redo, autosave, and split with Orig / Spli / Rcpt badges.
You do
You accept them, key by key
Nothing is applied silently. A ghost coding stays a suggestion until you take it.
Share Link
One click sends the client a link to review unclear transactions in the same Smart-Sorted grid you see. Upload invites replace email attachments.
Fedix does
Asks the client, and tracks the answer
Editable GST Flag and GST Amount columns let the client confirm GST themselves, with viewed and submitted tracking and reminders built in.
You do
You decide what the answer means
A client confirmation is evidence, not a determination. The GST treatment is your call and it stays your call.
Xero, both ways
Read contacts, invoices, bank transactions, P&L, balance sheet, tax rates and tracking categories. Trial Balance comparison, sync history log, webhook listener.
Fedix does
Drafts the write, and holds it
Invoice, contact, journal, payment, credit note, bank transfer, inventory item, or a Chart of Accounts push. Prepared, and held.
You do
You approve before anything posts
Nothing reaches Xero without you. It is not a one-way pipe, and it is not an unattended one.
Built for AU tax
GST, taxable income, Division 7A, Depreciation (Div 40 + Div 43) and FBT. The Australian numbers reconciled in the ledger rather than beside it.
Fedix does
Reconciles the AU tax numbers
GST-flag audit across the year. Reconciliation to taxable income and tax payable. Div 7A on ATO benchmark rates with a year-by-year schedule. Depreciation on ATO Effective Life, diminishing value and prime cost. FBT flags likely Type 1 / Type 2 benefits.
You do
You review every figure
Every number is held for you to check against its source before you carry it into your own software.
It reads the PDFs clients actually send
Scanned bank statements, receipts, rental property statements, loan amortisation schedules, spreadsheets and CSVs.
Fedix does
Turns paper into rows
Receipts are auto-matched to transactions and loan schedules are split into principal and interest. Upload it and it comes back as journal-ready transactions.
You do
You check what it read
An extraction is a reading of a document, not a fact about it. The rows land in front of you to check.
Open Banking and ATO feeds
A CDR-accredited Adatree integration pulls bank transactions from the accountant side, with no client-side bank feed setup.
Fedix does
Brings the data in
ATO ingestion imports tax payments, refunds and activity statements. ATO Suspense Account logic matches bank payments to ATO imports and reclassifies. Cross-account bank transfers are auto-detected.
You do
You confirm the matches
A suspense match and a transfer detection are proposals. You confirm them before they stand.
It arrives reconciled
The reconciliation and the working papers are done, and the numbers are summarised, before you open them.
Every figure has a source
Click a number and land on the document page it came from. A figure with no source is flagged.
The numbers hand off clean
Categorised, reconciled figures and working papers, exported and ready to carry into your own lodgement software.
Run every day by Tax7, a registered Australian practice.
What MyLedger costs
Ledger plans from A$249 + GST / month. Choose the band for your practice size.
No separate subscription for every client ledger. Six-month minimum term, then monthly. Four onboarding sessions are included. AI credits are included per user each month and shared across your practice: 1,200 on Ledger and 4,000 on Firm, which combines Practice and MyLedger.
What MyLedger hands you
MyLedger prepares the reconciled ledger, working papers and Special Purpose Financial Report. MyLedger does not lodge; you choose the lodgement software used for filing.
MyLedger is the accounting engine inside Fedix. Take it on its own, or take it as part of the whole system.
MyLedger takes raw records through a reconciled ledger, working papers and a Special Purpose Financial Report. MyLedger does not lodge. Your practice chooses the separate lodgement software used for filing -- and FediPilot can fill it in for you to check.
A useful tool today. A different kind of practice tomorrow.
Start wherever your practice is now. The real value grows when the client relationship, the accounting and the preparation work run together as one system.
Created by accountants. Built from the work itself.
Fedix and MyLedger grew out of running an Australian accounting practice. Tax7 uses the platform in its own practice. That practical foundation shapes what we build next.

Before you say yes
This will hurt. We are not going to pretend otherwise.
You give up habits you have had for years. You redesign how the work moves through your firm. Your team will struggle for a while.
Your subscription includes four onboarding sessions over four weeks: migration and integrations, Fedix training, MyLedger training and tailored FediPilot workflow planning. The initial term is six months, followed by month-to-month renewal. We migrate your data, rebuild your workflows, and train every person in your firm. We are not handing you a login and wishing you luck.
What the onboarding actually is
We migrate your data.
We rebuild your workflows.
We train every person in your firm.
Week 1: migration and integrations.
Week 2: Fedix training A.
Week 3: MyLedger training B.
Week 4: FediPilot training C and workflow planning. FediPilot itself can be downloaded from your Fedix dashboard as soon as your trial has started.
Choose the plan for your practice size. Four-week onboarding is included. FediPilot is available to download for Windows from your Fedix dashboard once your trial has started, and runs on your own ChatGPT or Claude account. Training sessions are included and bookable; they are not a precondition.
Your practice decides what Fedix can do: draft only, wait for approval, or run automatically. You control every workflow. Nothing is lodged without your approval.
AI proposes, you accept
Colour-coded confidence per row. AI codings arrive as ghost text you accept key-by-key - never silently auto-applied. Full undo/redo and autosave.
Your practice sets the control level
Set each workflow to draft only, require approval, or run automatically. The accounting practice controls what Fedix may do and can change that setting as its processes evolve.
Copilot write approvals are recorded
When Copilot asks you to approve a write, Fedix retains an audit record of who approved it, when, and what was approved.
Fedix enhances accountant expertise - it does not replace professional judgement.
We run our own practice on it.
No quotes. No logos. No numbers we cannot produce.
Run every day by a registered Australian tax practice
Tax7 is a real, registered Australian tax practice. It runs its own compliance work on Fedix - the same product on this page, on its own client files, every day. That is the proof we have, and it is the only proof we will claim.
SECURITY
The question you actually have to answer to your partners.
It is the number one reason AU firms do not adopt AI, and a vague answer is worse than no answer. So here is ours, including the part that is inconvenient for us.
Australian storage, with overseas AI processing disclosed.
Core data is stored at rest in Australia. AI-assisted features may process content overseas through OpenAI and Anthropic in the United States and Mistral AI in France. Uploaded documents may contain client identifiers, so practices should make the disclosure appropriate for their engagement.
Uploaded documents may include identifiers
OCR must read the document it receives. If an uploaded document contains a TFN, bank account number or another identifier, that content may be processed by the overseas AI provider.
AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit
Encrypted stored, encrypted moving. Access is scoped per practice.
Copilot approval records are retained
When Copilot asks you to approve a write, Fedix retains an audit record of who approved it, when, and what was approved.
We run to an ISO 27001-aligned control set. We are not ISO 27001 certified, and we will not say we are until we are.
Fedix reads the data in and hands the reconciled numbers back out.
Two ways to start.
