WEEK 01Connect the practice

WEEK 02Run the client work

Train your team on the everyday client journey and straightforward individual-return work.

Prepare

Bring intake questions, checklist variants, engagement templates and ten Category A pilot clients, including two messy cases. Confirm the sending mailbox and the people responsible for review.

Session agenda

  • Engagement, re-engagement, intake forms, document checklists and e-signatures
  • VOI, KYC and AML checks: results, exceptions and reviewer responsibilities
  • Relationships, family groups and group compliance responsibilities
  • Client notes, task management, owners, due dates and tax-return tracking
  • Quotes, invoices and direct debit: setup, authorisation and payment follow-up
  • ATO information and reminders; document and client folders with SharePoint sync
  • Optional AI documents, AI email and SMS automation with practice-defined controls

Deliverables

  • A practised Category A journey from intake and checks through engagement, quote, invoice and work handover
  • Named owners for checks, group obligations, notes, tasks and exceptions
  • A reviewed configuration list covering payments, ATO reminders, folders and selected automations
WEEK 03Prepare the accounts

Understand the ledger structure and practise the path from source records to reviewed accounting outputs.

Bring an appropriate sample ledger or bank records and note the accounting exceptions your team encounters.

  • Reconciliation and exception handling

Bring a complex client scenario, your review requirements and the tasks that need the most practice-specific handling.
