FediPilot AI practice assistant
Chat & workspace
Talk to FediPilot in plain English: ready-made workflows, readable progress, one-click approvals for anything that changes real data, files dropped straight into the chat and a simple task-first workspace.
Who it is for
Accountants and tax agents who want to brief an assistant the way they brief a colleague, without technical set-up.
Features in Chat & workspace
FediPilot chat
Type a plain request in the chat and FediPilot works on it, streaming its progress, in ask, edit or agent mode.
Ready-made workflow commands
Pick a workflow from the slash-command menu, such as accounting, scan, prepare, workpapers, review, optimise, request or LodgeiT, instead of writing instructions.
Native chat experience
The chat draws streaming replies, tool steps and file changes natively, so it looks and behaves like a modern chat.
Plain-language progress
Repeated technical steps are collapsed into readable progress rows and a summary of the work done.
One-click approval for irreversible actions
Irreversible or submission-type actions, such as sending outside the firm or anything submission-related, show an approve or reject card first.
Approvals that survive a restart
Approvals still waiting for a decision come back if the window reloads.
Drop files into the chat
Drag or paste client files into the chat and FediPilot can use them, with each file handled appropriately.
Open files from the chat
File paths in FediPilot's answers become Open and Show in folder links.
Task-first workspace
A simple workspace with a chats rail, client picker, task list and linked clients, with a switch to the full editor when you need it.
Activity map
A map that shows what FediPilot is doing across systems and clients.
Reply language
Choose the language FediPilot replies in, and it keeps replying in that language.
Simple or advanced view
Technical views stay hidden by default and can be switched on for advanced users.
Light or dark appearance
Choose a light or dark appearance for the app.
Signed letters, on your terms
Turn on an opt-in switch to let FediPilot place your saved signature on letters; your signature is used only while the switch is on.
Messages kept while signed out
A message typed while you are signed out waits for you to sign in instead of being discarded.
Clear outage messages
If Fedix itself is unavailable, FediPilot says so in plain words and offers a retry, instead of a technical error.
Skills and accounts menus
Menus in the side rail list FediPilot's skills and your AI accounts, with a quick account check.
Accountant-friendly answers
FediPilot replies in plain accountant language and checks figures against sources before stating them.
