Fedix and OneDrive or SharePoint: client folders, import and export, and setup
Fedix connects to the practice's OneDrive or SharePoint so client files stay in the practice's own drive. You can link each client to a folder, browse SharePoint sites and drives, and import documents into Fedix or export them back.
What syncs
- Client cloud folders: link each client to a OneDrive, SharePoint or Dropbox folder, match folders automatically, create a folder structure and keep it in sync.
- SharePoint: browse sites and drives and import documents into Fedix or export them back.
- Cloud storage connection: connect OneDrive or Dropbox, test the connection and keep it in sync.
Direction
Both ways. Documents can be imported from the drive into Fedix and exported back to it; the folder link is kept in sync.
What the practice sets up
- Connect OneDrive, SharePoint or Dropbox from the integrations hub or the cloud storage settings, and test the connection.
- Link each client to a folder, or let Fedix match folders automatically.
- The practice needs permission on the drive or site it connects.
Limits
- SharePoint is supported separately from OneDrive and Dropbox, with its own connection.
- Fedix reaches only the sites and drives the connected account can see.
- Microsoft's files API covers OneDrive, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint document libraries (see the source below).
Sources
- Microsoft documents working with files in OneDrive, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint document libraries through Microsoft Graph. Source (checked on 2026-10-30)
