Fedix and Microsoft 365: sign-in, mail and calendar, and what to set up

Practice Manager lets a user sign in with Microsoft and connect their Microsoft 365 mail, calendar and Teams meetings with one account. The inbox, sent mail and calendar then appear inside Fedix beside the client work.

What syncs

  • Mail: a full Microsoft 365 email client inside Fedix (inbox, sent, starred, unread, deleted, search, people search and attachments); new mail appears in near real time.
  • Calendar: Microsoft 365 calendars and events alongside client work.
  • Teams meetings, connected through the same Microsoft account.

Direction

Both ways for mail, because you read and send from inside Fedix; calendar events are shown alongside client work. Disconnecting stops the flow.

What the practice sets up

  • Each user signs in with their Microsoft account and grants access to mail, calendar and Teams.
  • Manage the connected mail accounts in Practice Manager; a user can disconnect at any time.

Limits

  • Each user connects the account they use, so a mailbox is only available to Fedix after that user signs in.
  • Microsoft sets its own throttling limits on requests (see the source below).
  • Google accounts are connected separately for users who work with Google.

Sources

  • Microsoft publishes throttling guidance for requests to Microsoft Graph, the API behind Microsoft 365 data. Source (checked on 2026-10-30)
