FediPilotSafety, approvals & reliability
FediPilot cannot widen its own permissions
FediPilot is blocked from changing its own configuration and permission settings.
The problem it solves
An AI that can change its own rules cannot be trusted with them.
How it works
- FediPilot works within its permissions.
- Any attempt to change its own settings is blocked.
- Only you change settings.
What your practice gets
- Permissions stay as you set them.
- Always on.
- Peace of mind.
Questions accountants ask
Can FediPilot change its approval mode?

Is this configurable?

Related features
Features that work alongside fedipilot cannot widen its own permissions.
Identifier masking before the AI
Identifiers such as TFNs, ABNs, BSBs, card, licence and passport numbers, phone numbers and emails can be replaced with placeholders before text is sent to the AI model.
Instructions in emails are not obeyed
Text from emails and documents is treated as data, so instructions hidden in them are not followed.
No claims without evidence
Checks stop FediPilot claiming things it has not verified, such as a file being saved, a figure read back, a ledger agreeing or a field set.
Expired sign-ins renewed
If a sign-in expires during a job, FediPilot renews it once and retries, so it never mistakes an expired sign-in for "no data".
Retries for network blips
Temporary network errors are retried with increasing waits, and repeated failures pause retries, so a blip does not abort the job.
No orphaned background processes
FediPilot's background engine closes when the app closes, so nothing is left running holding a signed-in browser.
