Fedix vs MYOB Practice
FediPilot does the tax return itself in LodgeiT or Xero Tax: it reads the client's documents and prepares the workpapers, and the accountant takes a quick look before it is lodged. Fedix Practice Manager covers onboarding, engagement, quotes, invoices, documents, e-signatures, tax-return management, notes and jobs. MyLedger prepares the ledger, working papers and Special Purpose Financial Reports. Neither Practice Manager nor MyLedger lodges; nothing is lodged without the accountant's approval.
What MYOB Practice does
MYOB's accountant offering includes Practice Compliance and Practice Management. Its own page lists tax returns, activity statements, documents and workpapers.

Where it is the better fit: If you want one vendor for tax returns, activity statements and lodgement in the same compliance platform, MYOB offers that. Fedix Practice Manager and MyLedger do not lodge.
What Fedix does

Where Fedix differs
MYOB's page lists preparing and lodging returns inside its own compliance platform. Fedix works inside the lodgement software you already use rather than being a lodgement platform itself.
What Fedix does not do
- Practice Manager and MyLedger do not lodge: lodgement stays in the lodgement software your practice chooses, and nothing is lodged without the accountant's approval.
- Fedix is software, not a registered tax agent: the registered agent reviews and lodges.
- Fedix is not a replacement for MYOB's own lodgement workflows if you want one vendor for preparation and lodgement.
- MYOB data comes in as an export file, not a live two-way connection.
Migration notes
- MYOB export data (CSV export) can be imported into Fedix; this is not a live two-way sync.
- Trial balances can be imported from MYOB, Xero, HandiLedger and Reckon through file upload.
- Onboarding includes a migration and system-connections session in week one; you can keep MYOB running while you try Fedix.
