Balance sheet
A balance sheet at any date with built-in checks, and a by-tracking-category balance sheet available as a section of the financial statements.
The problem it solves
The position statement must balance and tie back to the ledger.
How it works
- Choose the date.
- Review the balance sheet and its checks.
- For a split by tracking category, tick the balance sheet by segment section in the financial statements.
What your practice gets
- Checked position statement.
- Straight from the ledger.
- Optional split by tracking category in the statements.

Questions accountants ask
Is there an on-screen balance sheet by tracking category?
No. The split balance sheet is a section of the financial statements.
Does each split column balance?
Yes. Each column balances in its own right; it is not a standalone statutory balance sheet.
Is it available for SMSFs?
SMSFs use the statement of financial position; the by-segment sections are not available for SMSF clients.
